So this couple sat down next to us in Sacrament meeting today. They teach Sunday School and they're actually good teachers.
I could tell they were going to teach today, and I started talking to them once Sacrament meeting ended. This is how it went:
Me: "You're teaching today, huh?"
Dude: "Yeah"
Me: "It better be good"
Dude: Chuckles "Let's hope so"
Wife: Doesn't chuckle
Me: Faces forward
Silence
I don't know if the silence meant they didn't like my joke or not. It was one of those moments where you both know the conversation is over, but you can't really say that, so you have to let it linger (now you know what those lyrics are really about).
